INFO: When starting/installing your e-mark for the first time, you must always connect via WiFi. This can be done via the mobile app or the desktop version. After completing the firmware update on the e-mark, the USB version can also be used. Depending on the Excel version you are using, you might not be able to save your file in the CSV UTF-8 format directly. Saving your file in this format is important to ensure the correct visualisation and printing of all signs including special characters, language specific letters etc. The e-mark create complements the e-mark product portfolio and is aimed at private individuals from the fields of handicrafts, arts & crafts, DIY and lifestyle. Never lift up the e-mark during a 2- or 3- line imprint from the paper, otherwise it starts again with the first line.

When changing the position (by tapping four times onto the e-mark – watch the video here), the lights will change from green to blue, orange or pink. To change the type of connection between e-mark and your device, use the button on the bottom left side in the software. Please note that the e-mark can only be connected to one device at a time, either via WiFi or via USB. To establish a connection with another device, the existing connection must be disconnected first. Also when changing between USB and Wifi, the existing connection must be disconnected. The app offers the possibility to design multi-line imprints, which allows to make imprints with up to three lines. Please watch the video “ Make a multi-line imprint” for further explanation. Change after ‘x’ imprints (an imprint/number can be printed several times before it counts upwards) When the firmware is updated the e-mark needs to be switched off and on again. Also the app needs to be restarted, please close it first in the task manager. An imprint is the image that is made in the e-mark/e-mark Create App and then sent to the e-mark and printed. It can be a combination of different texts, images, and more .The first option is to connect via WiFi (mainly for laptops) and the second is a connection via USB cable.
What does green, blue, orange or pink lights on the side of the e-mark mean? (e-mark only – this feature is not available with the e-mark Create) You can load any font styles (of which you have the right of use) into the app. Make sure you have a “.ttf” or “.otf” file of the respective font.I also installed the e-mark software on our standard Intel Core i5 testbed PC running Windows 10 Pro. While it looked nearly identical to the mobile version, it connected to the device and functioned without incident or mishap.
